A Journey of Achievement
The testimonials appearing above followed 16 hours of training by Fair Chance Works which offers an interactive, engaging and easilly accessible curriculum covering a whole host of employment practices and communication skills. Its unique and patented approach to training helps fair and second chance job seekers obtain and sustain gainful, meaningful employment.
Steady Improvement
At roughly 30 points throughout the course, clients record webcam videos of themselves in response to various prompts that become increasingly more challenging. Self-evaluation, combined with the constructive feedback of a trainer during each practice session, creates a transformative change in behavior that lowers anxiety while enhancing self-confidence.
Putting Your Best Foot Forward
The Fair Chance Works training culminates in a final round of recordings in a professional studio setting. Clients are led through a mock interview where they’re encouraged to expand their replies, especially in relation to the new insights and goals they’ve developed during their recovery. Clients exit the program with a professionally produced New Beginnings Videoâ„¢ that’s provided to potential employers along with a resume. The video encourages the employer to see the applicant as a human being, thus mitigating any conscious or unconscious stigma they might feel regarding fair chance job seekers if looking only at a printed resume.
